Drakes

Dragons and griffons are together referred to as drakes. They are equated simply due to their size an uniqueness derived from being hexapodal, as well as a healthy fear surrounding them resulting from their opportunistic predation. Smaller animals, such as dragonoids or griffonoids, are not considered drakes, which are exclusively large predators and scavengers.
